Prof. You was selected to receive the 2018 Computing and Systems Technology (CAST) Outstanding Young Researcher Award. This award is presented by AIChE to honor an individual with outstanding contributions to the computing and systems technologies (CAST). Prof. You was recognized for “contributions to fundamental theory and applications of supply chain optimization, sustainability analytics, energy systems engineering, integrated process operations, and data-driven decision-making.” This award, sponsored by Air Products, consists of $3,000 and an award plaque. The award will be presented at the AIChE Annual Meeting to be held in October 2018 in Pittsburgh, PA. AIChE is the world’s leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with more than 60,000 members from over 110 countries.
